Jonah Kortsen
Jonah Kortsen
Jonah Kortsen was raised in Shiloh Messianic Congregation where his family brought him when he was only a toddler. Growing up under the guidance of Pastor Bruce he received salvation at a young age and learned the foundation of the faith. At the age of fifteen he had his Bar Mitzvah before the congregation, signifying the acceptance of all the responsibility that comes with being a man before God. Since then, he has lived according to his life verse, “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:12. He now serves as the head of both the Crestline Children’s and Youth Ministries to fulfill his strong desire of discipling young believers that he comes across. By doing this he hopes to bridge the gap between childhood belief and a disciplined follower of Yeshua HaMashiach. Outside of the church, he attends Chaffey College, where he is pursuing an Associates of Science Degree in Mathematics and has the long term goal of earning a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. Looking to the future he has hopes of becoming a college mathematics professor as well as answering the call of being a pastor.
